Why it matters

Hay does not wait for perfect weather.

Tight weather windows, uneven dry-down, variable moisture, bale heating risk, and storage losses can turn good forage into a problem fast. HayRite® is designed to help producers put the right biology on the crop early, so the haymaking process starts in a better direction.

How it works

A biological hay preservative that works differently from acid

HayRite® is not propionic acid and not a generic hay inoculant. It is a stable liquid biological forage conditioner built on the DB68 microbial strain — a selected Bacillus strain — and delivered through FLEX™ to support even application across hay and forage.

Think of the Bacillus DB68 strain as a microscopic army protecting your harvest. Instead of relying on harsh, corrosive chemicals that rust your equipment, these natural bacteria wake up the moment they hit the moisture in your bales. They work fast to outcompete the bad mold and yeast for food, which stops the heating process in its tracks. The result? Your hay cures naturally, stays cool in the barn, and retains the fresh smell and high nutrition that your animals need.

The right biology
The DB68 strain supports a more balanced microbial environment as hay moves from field to bale.
